A contractor was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant who dumped the body along a roadside in the city.
The incident occurred late last night and locals spotted the body and informed police.
"Shaym Singh Chauhan, 52, was a horticulture contractor. He hailed from Alwar district and was stabbed to death. The body bearing injury marks was taken to a hospital and was handed over today to family members after postmortem," SHO, Jawahar circle police station, Rajesh Kumar Soni said.
"Efforts are on to identify the accused," he added.
