Caterers, banquet owners, food and beverage professionals and hoteliers will participate in a three-day convention-cum-exhibition on the catering industry here from Saturday.
Federation of All India Caterers (FAIC) is organising the second edition of the convention to provide a platform to showcase latest trends, innovative products, upgraded equipment and advanced technology.
"After the grand success of FAIC's first convention in Ahmedabad we are now pleased to announce the second edition of exhibition and convention in Mumbai.

"The meet will also provide awareness on government policies and educate members on various guidelines," he added.
The event is expected to see attendance from over 20,000 visitors comprising caterers, banquet owners, fast food vendors, hoteliers, food and beverage professionals, the release said.
"Catering in India has now become an integral part for the success of various events and social occasions. It is one of the fastest-growing sectors that has seen surge in demand across the country.
"The sector, though largely unorganised, is estimated to be dominated by over 2 million caterers primarily in metros, tier 1 and 2 cities," said FAIC Vice-President Yogesh Chandarana.
