The seizure was made yesterday during a raid on the factory located at Bamne near Sahapur town of the district, District Supply Officer Mohan Naladkar said.

The company in question manufactures various kinds of cooking oil and vanaspati besides palmolein.

The raid was carried out following direction from the District Collector to check illegal hoardings of products. A team of district officials along with local Tehasildar Avinash Koshti inspected the factory premises.
