Residents of the national capital woke up to a cool morning with the minimum temperature settling at 10.2 degrees Celsius even as the weather office predicted scattered rains tonight.

The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 25 degrees Celsius.

"Very light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the northern parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region towards night," a Met official said.

Visibility was well above a km at 1,200 metres at 8.30 AM while humidity was recorded at 78 per cent.

15 north-bound trains were running late although flight operations at Delhi Airport remained normal.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature rose to settle at 26.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius.
