Chinese handset maker Coolpad today launched a gaming smartphone 'Coolpad Cool Play 6' for the Indian market.
The company is eyeing a bigger pie in the Indian smartphone space with plans to achieve 50 per cent growth to extend its share to 6 per cent of the country's overall market. It also plans to establish Coolpad services centres in India in at least 5 cities over the next 6 months.
Coolpad Cool Play 6 is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and packs 6GB of RAM.

The phone has 64GB of internal storage and a dual-rear camera unit (13MP + 13MP) and a 8MP front shooter for selfies.
It has 4000 mAh, non-removable Li-Po battery with a standby time up to 300 hours, with support for USB Type-C reversible connector and Dual Nano SIM.
Speaking at the launch here, James Du, Global CEO, Coolpad Group, said, "India and the US has now become two of the largest markets for Coolpad overseas. We are confident that with R&D capabilities and quality products, we will be able to gain an even larger market share in India and other regions."
Coolpad India CEO Syed Tajuddin said: "With this launch we not only plan to lead the online space but also to make a bigger impact on the offline market in India.
