Coop sugar mills in Haryana procures over 14 lakh quintals

The Cooperative Sugar Mills in Haryana have so far produced over 14.52 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 179.64 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.

Besides, Cooperative Sugar Mills Assandh has crushed 19.28 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 1,60,700 quintals of sugar.

A maximum of 31.15 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by Cooperative Sugar Mills, Shahabad followed by Rohtak Sugar Mills which has crushed 26.03 lakh quintals of sugarcane, a Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills spokesman said here today.

These two sugar mills have produced over 2.80 lakh quintals and 1.96 lakh quintals of sugar, respectively.
 

As much as 18.75 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by Cooperative SugarMills, Karnal and Cooperative Sugar Mills of Kaithal and Gohana have crushed 18.32 lakh quintals and 16.69 lakh quintals of sugarcane, respectively.

He said Cooperative Sugar Mills of Karnal, Kaithal and Gohana have produced over 1.56 lakh quintals, 1.48 lakh quintals and 1.31 lakh quintals of sugar, respectively.

He said Cooperative Sugar Mills of Panipat and Meham have crushed 14.66 quintals and 15.84 lakh quintals of sugarcane thus producing over 1.23 lakh quintals and 1.20 lakh quintals of sugar, respectively.

Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mills of Sonipat and Jind have crushed 12.76 lakh quintals and 12.90 lakh quintals of sugarcane respectively thus producing one lakh quintals and 98,505 quintals of sugar, respectively.

The Cooperative Sugar Mills, Palwal has crushed 12.54 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 96,515 quintals of sugar, he added.
