Asked about Cooper, who scored an unbeaten 11 off 3 balls and later scalped four wickets for 26 runs to help Rajasthan to a 31-run win over Kings Xi yesterday, Shukla said, "Yes, we have watched him play last night and he seemed to be so so, nothing special.
"He mixes in a lot of slower ones but we are prepared for that."
Shukla refused to read much about the eight-wicket loss against Delhi Daredevils in their rain-curtailed tournament opener on Thursday.
"It happens in the curtailed matches. The pitch was ok but batting first we were not sure what score would be sufficient. Moreover, we lost Brendon McCullum and (Jacques) Kallis early and that pegged us. We are ready to bounce back," he said.
Asked about the pounding KKR pace duo of Brett Lee and Marchant De Lange got against Delhi the other day, Shukla said "Any bowler could be hit in this format and that was a curtailed match. We have to find right combination for the conditions." PTI DS SSC
