As many as four Cooperative Sugar Mills of Haryana have bagged the National Awards for their outstanding performances in different fields during the crushing season 2013-14.
The awards will be conferred upon by Union Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ram Vilas Paswan at a function to be organized at New Delhi on September 15.
While giving this information today, an official spokesman said Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd, Shahabad has bagged first prize in Technical Efficiency in Other Recovery Area whereas, Karnal Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd, Karnal has won first prize in Cane Development in Other Recovery Area.
The spokesman said that similarly, Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, Panipat has bagged second prize in Cane Development in Other Recovery Area and Hafed Sugar Mills, Assandh has bagged third prize in Financial Performance in Other Recovery Area.
