Actors Elijah Wood and Alison Pill battle against a playground virus in a trailer for "Cooties".
The comedy horror follows a group of teachers who find themselves under siege in their school when a food virus turns the children into monsters, reported Digital Spy.
The teachers have to go to extreme lengths to avoid the cooties outbreak, which leaves the kids with zombie-like symptoms.
"Cooties" also stars "The Office" star Rainn Wilson and "30 Rock" star Jack McBrayer, as well as Jorge Garcia, Nasim Pedrad and Leigh Whannell.
Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion directed the film, with a screenplay from Whannell and Ian Brennan.
"Cooties" will be released on September 18 in select cinemas and on demand.
