Constable Mohammad Tahir allegedly raped his step-daughter at his residential quarters in Poonch on May 6 when his wife had gone to Rajouri district for some work, police said.
The accused was produced in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, which sent him to six-day police remand, they said.
