Depressed over his prolonged
illness, a 50-year-old head constable allegedly committed suicide here, police said today.
Vedpal hung himself in his house in Baba Haridas Nagar last night. He left no suicide note but police suspect that he took his own life due to his illness.
He is survived by wife, two daughters and a son.
