Copper and brass gain on good demand

Copper and brass prices gained at the non-ferrous market here today due to stockists buying amidst good demand from industrial users.

Copper armiture moved up by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 412 from Monday's close Rs 408.

Copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 384 and Rs 305 as against Rs 381 and Rs 302, yesterday.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper billets, copper sheet cuttings and brass sheet cuttings inched up per kg each to Rs 444, Rs 431, Rs 472, Rs 404 and Rs 323, respectively.
