Copper and brass recovers on fresh demand

Copper and brass prices recovered at the non-ferrous market here today due to stockists buying amidst fresh demand from industrial users.

While, tin and zinc dropped further owing to poor offtake from alloy industries.

Copper utensils regains by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 327 from Monday's close Rs 324.

Copper sheet cuttings and brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 341 and 274 as compared Rs 339 and 272 yesterday.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper wire bar and brass sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 361, RS 356, Rs 347, Rs 389 and Rs 280 respectively.
 

However, tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,420 as against Rs 1,425 yesterday and zinc edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 196 from Rs 198 previously.
