Copper, brass and zinc gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' buying amidst good demand from industrial users.
While, aluminium and nickel slipped due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.
Copper cable scrap and copper billets rose by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 447 and Rs 475 from last Saturday's close at Rs 443 and Rs 471, respectively.

Copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper sheet cuttings, brass sheet cuttings and zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 438, Rs 428, Rs 423, Rs 340 and Rs 240 as compared to Rs 436, Rs 426, Rs 421, Rs 338 and Rs 238, respectively.
Copper utensils inched up per kg to Rs 407.
However, nickel slid by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 830 as against Rs 835 previously.
Aluminium ingots eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 158 from Last weekends close Rs 160 and aluminium utensils softened by a Re per kg to Rs 125.
