Copper, brass decline on lower demand

Select copper and brass declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists' selling amid lower demand from industrial users.

However, tin prices rebounded marginally owing to fresh demand from alloy industries.

Brass sheet cuttings dropped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 300 from Tuesday's close of Rs 310. Brass utensils scrap moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 290 from Rs 295 yesterday.

Copper sheet cuttings edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 367 as compared Rs 369 and copper armiture softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 371.

However, tin prices rebounded Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,370 from yesterday's close of Rs 1,360.
