Copper and brass prices edged up at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' buying amid mild demand from industrial users.
Globally, the industrial metal copper moved up slightly in early Asian trade amid lacklustre trading activities before the New Year Day holiday.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting all inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 383, Rs 378, Rs 371, Rs 351, Rs 411, Rs 367, Rs 276 and Rs 282 respectively.
