Press Trust of India New Delhi
Falling for the second day, copper prices shed another Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today, tracking a weakening global trend.

Traders said sentiments remained bearish after copper headed for a third monthly loss in global markets as a surging dollar and speculation that demand in China remained weak put the metal on course for the biggest drop since January.

Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months fell 0.3 per cent to USD 5,245.50 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.

In the national capital, copper mixed scrap remained under selling pressure and shed another Rs 2 at Rs 392 per kg.
