Taking weak cues from global market and low demand at the domestic spot market, copper moved down 0.93 per cent to Rs 341.80 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions.
Copper for delivery in November was trading Rs 3.20, or 0.93 per cent down at Rs 341.80 per kg in a business volume of 43 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in current month traded lower at Rs 3.05 or 0.90 per cent to Rs 33.25 per kg in 1,328 lots.

Analysts said the fall was largely in tune with a weak trend in metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME) as China's yuan slid for the third day after its worst loss since 1994.
Besides, low demand from domestic industries too had a negative impact, they said.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months retreated 0.3 per cent to USD 5,175 per tonne at the LME, while at Shanghai it fell 0.2 per cent to 39,270 yuan a tonne.
