Prices of copper and lead fell Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today, tracking a weak global trend.
Traders said sentiment turned bearish after copper fell in global markets, amid continued concerns about China's economy and before US data this week that may give more clues on the timing of a Federal Reserve rate rise.
Meanwhile, copper fell 0.5 per cent to USD 5,141.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap shed Rs 2 to Rs 370 per kg. Lead ingot and lead imported also declined by a similar margin to Rs 96 and Rs 97 per kg respectively.
