Prices of copper and nickel fell by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries amid weak trend overseas.
Traders said besides subdued demand from consuming industries, a weak trend overseas mainly led to the decline in copper and nickel prices.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months lost 0.7 per cent on the London Metal Exchange.
