Copper, nickel gain on global cues

The industrial metal rose at the LME on positive sentiment over the strong manufacturing data from China.

Nickel spurted by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,065 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,055.

Copper scrap heavy and copper utensils scrap climbed by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 476 and Rs 441 from Rs 474 and Rs 439.

Copper cable scrap, copper armature, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting and brass utensils scrap all edged up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 485, Rs 466, Rs 513, Rs 461 and Rs 316, respectively.

However, brass sheet cutting softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 325.
