Copper and nickel prices edged up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous market today due to increased industrial demand amid a firm global trend.
Traders said apart from a firm global cues, pick up in demand from consuming industries helped copper and nickel prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 362 and Rs 836-841 per kg, respectively.
