Copper prices declined by Rs 3 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to weak global cues amid slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said apart from a weak trend overseas, easing demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market mainly put pressure on copper prices.
Globally, copper for delivery in three-months fell 0.7 per cent to USD 5,661 metric a tonne on the London Metal Exchange in yesterday's trade.
