Prices of copper and zinc strengthened by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metals market today due to increased demand from consuming industries.
Traders besides increased demand from consuming industries, reports of a firm global trend in base metals, mainly supported the upside in in copper and zinc prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot traded higher by Rs 2 each to Rs 443 and Rs 111-117 per kg respectively.
