Copra Rajapur prices dropped sharply at the spices market here today on reduced demand from stockist and retailers amidst improved arrivals.
Elsewhere, copra edible, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices declined further due to subdued demand from stockist and exporters.
Meanwhile, black pepper and ginger bleached and unbleached maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile large-scale buying activity.
Copra Rajapur slumped by Rs 1,000 per quintal to Rs 21,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs 22,000.
Copra edible dipped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 13,800 as against Rs 14,000 yesterday.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode moved down by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,500 and Rs 10,400 from Rs 10,600 and Rs 10,500, respectively.
