Copra edible rebound on robust demand

Copra edible Mumbai prices rebounded smartly in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today on robust demand from stockists and traders amid good upcountry offtake.

Meanwhile, rest all other spice held steady in the absence of any largescale buying.

Copra edible Mumbai surged by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 14,000 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 13,600.

Black pepper (per kg) 725/775 (725/775), ginger bleached (per kg) 270 (270), ginger unbleached (per kg) 290 (290), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 11,500 (11,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 11,300 (11,300), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 21,500 (21,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 14,000 (13,600).
