Copra edible rebounds on renewed demand

Copra edible prices rebounded at the spices market here on renewed demand from stockists and retailers amidst good export enquiries.

Meanwhile, copra office Alapuzha eased further owing subdued demand from exporters and upcountry advices.

Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying.

Copra edible Mumbai shot-up by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 12,500 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 12,000.

However, Copra office Alapuzha fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 9,200 as against Rs 9,300 yesterday.

Black pepper (per kg) 740/790 (740/790), ginger bleached (per kg) 250 (250), ginger unbleached (per kg) 270 (270), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 9,200 (9,300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9,100 (9,100), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 20,000 (20,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,500 (12,000).
