Copra edible spurts on renewed demand

Meanwhile, rest all other spices ruled steady in the absence of any market moving factors.

Copra edible Mumbai gained by Rs 100 per quital to Rs 5,100 from Monday's closing level of Rs 5,000.

The following are today's closing rates in rupees with previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 430/455 (430/455), ginger bleached (per kg) 120 (120), ginger unbleached (per kg) 130 (130), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,350 (4,350), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,250 (4,250), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,900 (6,900) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,100 (5,000).
