Copra prices firmed up at the spices market here today on sustained demand from stockists and exporters in view of fast approaching festivals.
While, ginger prices eased owing to lower stockist and export offtake.
Meanwhile, black pepper held steady in the absence any largescale buying activity.

Copra Rajpur Mumbai rallied Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 23,500 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 23,000, Copra edible Mumbai and Copra office Kozhikode rose by 200 per quintal to Rs 14,000 and Rs 11,000 from Rs 13,800 and Rs 10,800, respectively.
Copra office Kozhikode also gained Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 10,800 as against Rs 10,700 previously.
However, ginger bleached and unbleached moved down by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 235 and Rs 255 from overnight close of Rs 240 and Rs 260.
