Copra prices attracted buyers' attention by rising Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today following insufficient ready stocks due to restricted supplies amid better offtake by stockists.
Marketmen said, tight stocks position due to halt in supplies, triggered by speculative buying by stockists mainly led to a gain in copra prices.
Copra prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude the day at Rs 16,300-16,800 per quintal.
Elsewhere, other kirana commodities stood at overnight levels in thin trade.
