Copra rajapur drops in lacklustre trade

Copra rajapur Mumbai dropped further in an lacklustre spices market here today following sluggish demand from stockists and retailers.

While, other spices held stable in absence of any large-scale buying.

Copra rajapur Mumbai slipped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,800 from Thursday's close Rs 9,000.

Following are today's closing rates (in Rs) with previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 740/810 (740/810), ginger bleached (per kg) 160 (160), ginger unbleached (per kg) 180 (180), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 5,100 (5,100), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,000 (5,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 8,800 (9,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 6,700 (6,700).
