Copra Rajapur rebounds on renewed demand

Copra Rajapur Mumbai prices rebounded at the Spices market here on renewed demand from stockists and retailers amid lower upcountry advices.

Elsewhere, black pepper, ginger bleached and unbleached gained further on sustained demand from stockist and retailers.

Meanwhile, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode declined further due to subdued demand from millers and bulk consumer amid ample supplies.

Copra edible Mumbai maintained its stable trend in absence of any worthwhile buying.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai rose by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 17,000 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 16,500.

Black pepper advanced by Rs 10/4 per kg to Rs 631/725 as against Rs 621/721 yesterday.
 

Ginger bleached and unbleached moved up by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 225 and Rs 245 from Rs 220 and Rs 240, respectively.

However, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode fell by Rs 100 per quintal each to RS 9,300 and Rs 9,100 as compared to Rs 9,400 and Rs 9,200 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 631/725 (621/721), ginger bleached (per kg) 225 (220), ginger unbleached (per kg) 245 (240), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 9,300 (9,400), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9,100 (9,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,000 (16,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 11,800 (11,800).
