Copra Rajapur slips on low demand

Copra Rajapur slipped at the spices market here today due to lower demand from stockists and retailers amid ample stock positions.

Rest all other spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs 9,200.

Following are today's closing rates (in Rs) with previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 740/810 (740/810), ginger bleached (per kg) 160 (160), ginger unbleached (per kg) 180 (180), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 5,300 (5,300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,200 (5,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,000 (9,200), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 6,900 (6,900).
