Copra Rajapur spurts on rising demand; pepper, ginger decline

Copra Rajapur prices spurted at the Spices market here today due to rising demand from stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.

While, black pepper and ginger declined due to lack of retail demand.

Copra Rajapur shot up by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 9,500 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 9,000.

However, black pepper fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 531/581 as against Rs 541/591 and ginger bleached and unbleached moved down by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 195 and Rs 205 from Rs 200 and Rs 210, respectively.
