Copra Rajapur surges on heavy stockist demand, weak supply

Copra Rajapur prices surged at the spices market here today due to heavy demand from bulk consumers and stockists amid weak arrivals.

Elsewhere, Copra Alapuzha, Copra Kozhikode and Copra Edible prices recovered on renewed millers offtake.

Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger bleached and unbleached maintained a stable trend in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai shot up by Rs 1,000 per quintal to Rs 17,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 16,000.

Copra office Alapuzha, Copra Office Kozhikode and Copra Edible moved-up by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,200, Rs 10,100 and Rs 13,100 as against Rs 10,100, Rs 10,000 and Rs 13,000, respectively.
