Copra Rajapur prices shot up sharply in an otherwise lacklustre trade at the spices market here today due to heavy buying from stockists and bulk traders amid adequate supplies.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger, copra office Alapuzha, copra Kozhikode and copra edible prices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
Copra Rajapur flared up by Rs 1,000 per quintal to Rs 20,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 19,000.
