A court here has granted two more weeks to Delhi Police to file an Action Taken Report (ATR) in a case alleging that former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's political secretary Pawan Khera and others cheated a person by promising him jobs in exchange of money.
Metropolitan Magistrate Navjeet Budhiraja posted the matter for further hearing on March 7 after the SHO, Ambedkar Nagar sought more time to file the ATR.
On November 10 last year, the court had directed the SHO to file the ATR on a complaint filed by Ambedkar Nagar resident Rajpal Singh alleging that Khera in connivance with others had cheated him by asking him to deposit Rs six lakh in the Congress party fund in lieu of government jobs to his sons at New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC).

The complainant sought court's direction for registration of FIR against three other persons -- Mukesh, Pratap, Bhanu Pratap Sharma -- who had helped him in reaching Khera.
He had sought lodging of FIR against them for cheating, criminal breach of trust, extortion and misappropriation of money and forgery punishable under section 403, 406, 417, 419, 420, 120-B read with 34 of IPC.
In his complaint, Singh had claimed that he was given a recommendation letter for clerical jobs at NDMC for his two sons on the letter head of Khera after he deposited Rs 6 lakh in the Congress party fund.
Thereafter he was asked by the accused persons to make his son fill the NDMC ID form on September 18, 2013 but after that he had failed to contact them.
