An alert was today issued in Gujarat's Jamnagar district by police after they received information regarding suspicious movement of a SUV in the coastal town of Sikka near here.
The red alert was issued across the district as the police did not want to take chance, after a recent IB alert regarding entry of 10 terrorists from Pakistan through Gujarat coastal route, Superintendent of Police, Jamnagar, Pradeep Sejul said.
"A local informer told us that a SUV with four persons was moving suspiciously near Sikka town. One person, who was holding a weapon, handed over some bag to a person in a highly suspicious manner.
