Coriander and red chilli prices rose by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.

Fall in supplies from producing belts and firming trend in futures market also supported the upside in prices.

Coriander and red chilli prices rose Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 11,600-16,600 and Rs 6,900-12,900 per quintal, respectively.

Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up coriander and chilli prices.
