Coriander prices fell by Rs 61 to Rs 7,240 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as participants cut down positions amid muted domestic and export demand.

Besides, rising arrivals from major producing regions mainly weighed on coriander prices here.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander prices for November delivery declined by Rs 61, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 7,240 per quintal with an open interest of 1,430 lots.

Coriander contracts for December traded lower by Rs 14, or 0.20 per cent, at Rs 7,006 per quintal with an open interest of 10,590 lots.
