Coriander prices on Monday fell by Rs 175 to Rs 6,150 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, coriander contracts for April slumped by Rs 175, or 2.77 per cent, to Rs 6,150 per quintal in 7,680 lots.
Similarly, the spice for May delivery traded lower by Rs 190, or 2.99 per cent, at Rs 6,170 per quintal in 740 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices here.
