Coriander prices fell by Rs 18 to Rs 6,143 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as participants cut down positions amid muted domestic and export demand.

Apart from muted demand, rising arrivals from major producing regions also weighed on the sentiment, traders said.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for October delivery declined by Rs 18, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 6,143 per quintal with an open interest of 25,610 lots.
