Press Trust of India New Delhi
Coriander and jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying support from retailers and stockists amid paucity of stocks.

Besides, restricted arrivals from producing belts also supported the uptrend.

Coriander prices rose by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 7,200-12,200 per quintal.

Jeera common and best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to finish at Rs 11,500-11,900 and Rs 15,600-15,900 per quintal, respectively.

Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices at the wholesale kirana market here.
