Coriander and turmeric prices fell further by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on muted demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks position.

Weakening trend in futures market also put pressure on select spice prices.

Coriander and turmeric prices declined by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 6,900-13,200 and Rs 7,100-10,300 per quintal, respectively.

Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly pulled down coriander and turmeric prices.
