Cornell Glen signs for Ozone FC Bengaluru

Bangalore Super Division side Ozone FC have completed the acquisition of prolific striker Cornell Glen for the upcoming football season, boosting their attack with quality and experience.

Glen have played in the MLS, Trinidad and Tobago, I-League and ISL. He was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago squad which qualified and played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. He has been one of the best foreigners playing on Indian soil with appearances for Shillong Lajong, North East United and Mohun Bagan.

The experienced striker has scored 11 goals in 16 matches for the 2016 Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan last season and was the joint second highest scorer in I-League 2015-2016.
 

Glen has played 69 matches scoring 23 goals for the Trinidad and Tobago national team. This includes appearances at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

After having signed on the dotted line, Glen said, "I am happy and look forward to this new challenge. I will do my best to contribute in the team's success in any way I can and repay the faith shown in me by the team management."

S Vasudevan, CMD Ozonegroup, was pleased to bring on Glen to Ozone FC Bengaluru. He said, "We are extremely pleased to announce the signing of Cornell Glen for the upcoming season. We want to create a platform where our academy boys can learn from the best our country has to offer and Cornell Glen's signing is a testimony to that.
