Coromandel International Q4 net up 35% to Rs 93 cr

Coromandel International today reported 35 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 92.68 crore for the quarter ended on March 31.

The company had reported net profit of Rs 68.66 crore in the same quarter of the 2014-15 fiscal.

Total income from operations rose to Rs 3,020.87 crore in the January-March quarter of 2015-16 from Rs 2,997.59 crore in the same quarter in 2014-15.

"The pesticides business has yielded good results for the company," Coromandel International Chairman A Vellayan said.

It has 4 complex fertiliser plants with combined capacity of about 30 lakh tonnes. Besides this, the company also has 7 SSP plants with total capacity of 10 lakh tonnes.
 

The company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 4 per share, 400 per cent on face value of Re 1 per share.
