Logistics services provider TCI Express Ltd on Thursday said it is implementing various preventive measures for safety and well-being of its employees, customers, vendors and other stakeholders in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

"TCI Express Ltd is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation as the Government of India continues to take various precautionary measures to contain the outspread. Our top priority at this moment is the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, vendors and all other stakeholders," the company said in a filing to BSE.

"We are implementing various preventive measures in line with guidelines issued by the government healthcare departments," it said.

The company also said it was taking precautions across its sorting centres, vehicles, branches and offices.

It also added that the direct impact of coronavirus on its business and operations is expected to be very limited, given its unique asset-light model with majority of revenues from the business-to-business segment.

The filing also said that all of TCI Express' routes, branches and sorting centres are operational at almost similar utilisation levels as the third quarter of 2019-20.
