Cyber crimes impacting individuals are bothersome but corporate cyber crimes are a matter of higher concern, Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said today.

"Cyber crime impacting individuals bother me. However, corporate cyber crimes are worrying me more now," he said while releasing a book 'Breach', a cyber crime thriller, by Amrtia Chowdhury.

As scope of technology is growing, threat of cyber crime is also increasing, he said. There is also concern that why cases are not getting registered when there are clear cases of corporate cyber crimes or fraud.

The minister said under the IT Act there has to be a complainant for law enforcement agencies to take action. However, government can act on its own in case of cyber terrorism.

Countries as well as United Nations are seriously considering a global cyber law, he added.
