City-based public sector lender Corporation Bank has appointed Jai Kumar Garg as itsManaging Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Garg, a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, was earlier functioning as Executive Director of United Commercial Bank.
Garg entered banking sector in 1986, joining Corporation Bank and functioned in variouscapacities at major centres across the country.
He took charge yesterday and will hold the post for three years, the bank said in a statement.
