State-owned Corporation Bank has bagged national award for excellence in lending to micro enterprises for 2012-2013.
The bank recorded a 32 per cent annual growth under the Micro and Small Enterprises portfolio at Rs 5,313 crore, Corporation Bank said in a statement.
The bank is constantly taking efforts to improve lending to MSMEs by opening SME loan centres with dedicated processing and marketing teams in all major centres, it said.
The award was received by Corporation Bank Chairman and Managing Director S L Bansal from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
